Today’s Column: December 4, 2020

Dear Tough Talk,

My friend Nancy and I go way back to grade school when we were kids.  Over the years we have had our ups and downs and tiffs and scrapes, but we always came around and continued our friendship.  Lately however, she has been excluding me from outings and events with our other mutual friends.  Those same friends look at me like I’ve done something wrong and are no longer as friendly as they used to be.  When I bumped into them at a local restaurant I saw Nancy whispering to Wilma looking right at me and they started to snicker.  Tough Talk, Should I be offended?  (Goulds, VA)

You should be terribly offended! Nancy sounds like a really awful person by backstabbing you like that.  You should demand an answer and don’t take any double talk.  She sounds like a real two-faced primadonna who is beneath you as a friend.  Don’t take any crap from her or your other so called friends.
