My wife of almost 45 years is a procrastinator beyond compare. I have been waiting for her to finish various projects in the house. She refuses to let me do it, insulting my intelligence when she explains her reasons. I’m sick of looking at all these problems that need fixing and hearing her excuses and why it keeps taking too long. What should I do TT? (North Danby, Nevada)

You tell your wife in no uncertain terms that she finish a project whatever she uses to dress up her incompetence or you will take action that she not like, as in hell to pay. You will not tolerate this nonsense. If she does not meet your deadlines, you take drastic action of your choice (like doing your own paint job), and show her who’s boss.
