Tough Talk: January 15, 2025

Tough Talk,

I was at my sister-in-law’s fiftieth birthday party and it was a hoot.  I never had so much fun except one incident kind of rankles me.  At dinner, we had some leftover diner and asked a waiter for some containers to take it home with us.  Another couple who didn’t say anything all night just glared at us as if we did something wrong.   My husband and I ignored this overt hostility, but I’m wondering if we did anything wrong.  What do you think TT? (Lockwood, West Virginia)

Gary,

You did do something wrong and that was you should have stared right back at them and loudly ask, “What the F!@* is your GD problem?”  Who the hell do these people think they are being so rude?  You are a gutless toad for not taking immediate action.  Don’t let this happen again.

  1. TT I have to disagree with you on this one. Taking a doggie bag of leftover food from an event is not acceptable. It’s barely ok at a diner if you’re alone.
    luv ya
