Are christening invitees required to attend the ceremony in far-off destinations? I ask because my sister-in-law is giving everyone grief about going to another county. It’s only forty miles away, but I think they’re trying to blow off a gift. What do you think TT? (Dingens, Delaware)

I think you’re right and insist and demand that they attend the ceremony. And even if they don’t, they’re still expected to send a gift – and a nice one. Tell them that if they don’t, you’ll be pissing mad. Who do they think they are?
