Tough Talk,

I have two great little boys who are fearless, powerful and knowledgeable beyond their young years.  I have met a new woman and we have been seeing each other for a while and she helps with the kids but can be harsh and upbrades them for trifling matters.  My sister’s brother-in-law’s youngest cousin’s Godfather’s sister says that it’s not healthy to have someone come in and start handing out orders and discipline.  What do you think TT?   (Okalooska, Mississippi)

Okalooska,

You sound week and stupid.  What on earth is going on in that squirrel like mind of yours?  Of course it’s a sign of poor parenting to allow a new love interest to assume authority of two children who have no relationship to her other then your wanting to engage in sexual activity.  You should immediately tell her to shut up and mind her own business the next time she pulls one of these stunts.  Don’t be a coward and allow her to get over on you and your little dudes.

Dear Tough Talk,

My friend Nancy and I go way back to grade school when we were kids.  Over the years we have had our ups and downs and tiffs and scrapes, but we always came around and continued our friendship.  Lately however, she has been excluding me from outings and events with our other mutual friends.  Those same friends look at me like I’ve done something wrong and are no longer as friendly as they used to be.  When I bumped into them at a local restaurant I saw Nancy whispering to Wilma looking right at me and they started to snicker.  Tough Talk, Should I be offended?  (Goulds, VA)

You should be terribly offended! Nancy sounds like a really awful person by backstabbing you like that.  You should demand an answer and don’t take any double talk.  She sounds like a real two-faced primadonna who is beneath you as a friend.  Don’t take any crap from her or your other so called friends.

My mother-in-law is a strong, complicated and smart woman who is good at pointing out people’s faults with snide remarks and snotty comebacks. She constantly insults and makes fun of my husband while she showers her other two children with compliments and expensive gifts that we find out about later when someone let’s the secret out of the bag. My husband just grins and bears it hoping that she will at least leave him something in the will. I think his mother insults him because he either resembles her first husband who abandoned her or because he is not as successful as his brother and sister. What should we do TT? (Griffiths, MN) Griffiths, the problem lies with your husband for being cowardly and weak. There is nothing worse than some kid who sucks around his parents waiting for them to kick the bucket for their money. It also sounds like your husband’s gutlessness has rubbed off on you for not telling your moth-in-law to eat %#@*! Don’t tolerate this nonsense anymore and either stop associating with her or tell her off to her face next time she says something mean. If she gets cute, scream at her at the top of your lungs. That will make an impression. You watch. ###

Tough Talk,

Let’s just say I am very inexperienced with women never having a girlfriend and now at the age of thirty-something, I’m worried that I will never find the right woman for me.  What should I do?  (Catatonk, SC)

Catatonk, I strongly suggest you immediately purchase the services of a prostitute.  You don’t want to kick the bucket without the company of a woman.  It is the source of our reality whether for good or bad.  But the truth is, there is no such thing as the right woman, it’s really a scale of compatibility. Time is of the essence. Don’t be a fool and a coward.

Tough Talk

I try to treat people the way that I like to be treated, but there are so many mean and nasty and prickly pears out there.  Every day there is someone telling me what to do, bossing me around or just acting superior.  Some people are blatantly rude too just cutting you off when I’m talking or on the road driving.  What should I do TT?  (Frewsburg, Idaho)

Frewsberg, unfortunately in this day and age Americans are truly nasty, rude and arrogant.  You can’t take action against everyone who acts like a spoiled brat, but if can locate a person who does cross you, meaning their telephone number or address, send them nasty letters or crank call them.  Phone calls at three in the morning is a personal favorite of mine.  What’s important is you pick people carefully and try to do some damage, which is the true mark of success.  Don’t woose out.

Tough Talk,

My sister’s boyfriend is handsome, funny and financially stable with a bright future working at his family business.  We just learned however that he was arrested and convicted for molesting an elderly woman who was unconscious and in life support at a hospice.  He denies it and said he just pled guilty to avoid attention and costs and he says he did nothing wrong.  But we read some of the court records and he was engaging in filthy and despicable activity which is not suitable for your column.  We spoke to some of the witnesses and they are believable.  Should my sister ignore this incident as he is rich, handsome and fun to be with or should she break up with him? (Florala, Utah)

What difficult question you ask . . . if you are a SFBM.  What the hell is wrong with you?  This guy is molesting an incapacitated elderly woman in a health care facility and you ask if your loved one should look the other way.   What on earth is wrong with you?  You tell your sister to drop that degenerate pervert immediately.  Leopards don’t change their spots.  Your sister is going to be really embarrassed if she marries this creep.

Tough Talk,

My sister’s best friend’s little cousin comes over to our house regularly as my sister babysits him.  When he was younger, everybody liked him and he was the baby of the family so to speak.  But now, he is a plain mean, rude, nasty little boy and no one likes him.  If he wasn’t 6 years old and someone else’s child, he would have caught several beatings by now.  I know little boys go through phases and I’d prefer to ignore this, but what should I do when he damages our property and leaves filthy messes in our bathroom on purpose?  Tough Talk, what’s your advice?  (Messacoola, Mississippi)

Messacoola,

The best you can do is not cop out and take the matter into your own hands.  You tell your sister and best friend that if that spoiled rotten little brat misbehaves, he will be punished severely and never allowed back in your home.  Of course, this may upset them but it’s the only way to make your point.  Be tough and don’t back down.  Don’t let some crappy little boy ruin your home.

TT,

I love my boyfriend.  He is nice, kind and smart and should have a good and solid future in his field.  However, he still has a roommate who is really rude and inconsiderate always popping in when we’re talking and want some time alone.  He is really indifferent or stupid, but he just can’t seem to take a hint and leave us alone.  He also forgets to flush the toilet which is particularly disgusting.  I tell my boyfriend to do something, either move out or talk to him, but he doesn’t want to rock the boat as he’s counting on the low rent for the next few years.  What advice do you have for me TT? (Frost Hollow, KY)

FH, you must tell the boyfriend in no uncertain terms that the roommate’s presence is not wanted and to learn some manners.  How utterly disgusting!  I am sorry you have to endure such disrespect.  If that does not work, you are going to have to pressure your boyfriend to take some type of action.  He might consider waking him up at 4 in the morning or hiding his belongings. Non-stop phone calls might be a solution and of course vandalizing his car (but so it still drives) is always an option. Regardless, don’t let this slide.  Your relationship hangs in the balance as you will lose respect for him in the coming years if he continues to be a weak sister.
