Tough Talk,

I am a young mother with two grammar school children. I work at home and my husband is happy in his career. As I work and take care of the kids, I find myself losing my temper and prone to screaming and throwing things. I feel awful as it scares the kids and I broke a gift from my husband before we were married. Work can be stressful as I am always under a deadline and know that stress is not good. What are your thoughts on this TT? (Lockwood, Florida)

Lockwood,

You have what is called an anger management problem.   However, you should be recognized for your honesty and courage in trying to handle it. Unfortunately, you may not be able to change it. I suggest you direct the anger at people who deserve to be treated like crap. I further suggest you begin with your elected officials and demand that they do something for you as a constituent. Directing your anger and violent tendencies at people who deserve it is an option that you and all my readers should explore.
