Tough Talk,
I am a mother with four adult children. I get along with three of them but the younger middle child either dislikes me or might even hate me. I try to keep a positive outlook and overlook his snide remarks and condescending tone. Now he has a girlfriend who is copying his behavior and adopting his attitude towards me. I’m not sure why he is so hostile. What advice do you have TT? (Tylersville, Texas)

Your son is a spoiled brat and you have no one to blame but yourself. You tell that young blood to keep his goddamn piehole shut or get out of your sight. Don’t spare the rod, literally. You may also tell him he is rude, arrogant and nasty and stay away from your home if he doesn’t watch . Also, if he is storing any of his property at your house, sell or toss it. Maybe he can show up some with his belongings on the curb. When he complains, laugh in his face and tell him tough s*!%, it’s his own damn fault. Don’t be weak. It’s about time you stood up for yourself.
